As a  young girl I was encouraged by my sweet French artist Grandmother, ,Ella Fontenot' to draw and paint. Life has a way of distracting us from those things we cherished as youngsters, so after encouraging other artist for years, I have found that I needed make the journey back to my own roots.   This has taken me out of a comfort zone and into areas I never thought I would experience. This painting is energetic and emotional. Painting it helped me with obtaining my balance in life once again. Sometimes events out of our control disrupt us and it is important to identify what the cause is and move as quickly as possible to maintain your balance again.
